1. Use the cross function. It's more useful than you think it is.
I used to despise that function. Till I realized it actually helps me solve puzzles faster because we actually make mistakes and forget about the completed columns and rows, making our puzzle more unsolvable.2. Colour the squares that you know can be filled up in either ways then cross out the squares that cannot be coloured at all.
This was taught in the tutorial, but not many people will apply this skill. For example, a 6x6 grid and one column/row requires 4 squares to be filled (NOT including a separator eg. 1 2).Blank | 0 | 1 3 | 4 | 4 | 1 1 | 1 |
